We are pleased to say the green is ready to accept members…….
A massive thank you to the Green Team, Steve, Jim, Trevor, Paul, Graham A for all their work over the last few weeks and months.  Also, a huge thank you to Kevin Chubb for his sterling work in redecorating the exterior of the building and to Malcolm B for his annual renewal of the safety zone paint work.  As always there are others who helped inside and outside to get the club set up for today – you know who you are – a big thank you to each of you.

The green will open on 13th April, with the first match being Wednesday 15th at 6:00pm
There will be a working party to set up the green and the club on Saturday 11th at 9:30am

Congratulations to James Vincent who has qualified for the National Finals at Royal Leamington Spa in the National Singles. He represents Wiltshire as Wiltshire A playing Yorkshire’s Jack Bird on Wednesday 27 August . I’m sure James will appreciate the support if any are able to get there.

Sunday 6 July – 10:00am start: Salisbury BC are hosting the County National men’s Pairs quarters and semi finals Tom Warner and Fraser Boynton are in the quarter final against Graham Shadwell and Russell Francis of Spencer Moulton. I am sure support would be most welcome.

Sunday 29 June: congratulations to Nick Revell, Tom Warner and Dave Wressell on reaching the southern area Round of 16 of the Mens NationaL 2-Bowl Singles.

A BIG thank you, to the volunteers who helped make the morning on Saturday, such a great success. As a club we raised £470 and still have promises of further donations to break the £500 mark.

Congratulations to tomorrow Warner, Nick Revell, Jordan Moody and Fraser Boynton on being part of the team that won the Bowls Wiltshire team that won the Middleton Cup this afternoon.

> ROLL UP, ROLL UP. > The Social and Catering teams are looking forward to the BUMPER BBQ on Saturday. The numbers are quite good but the food and other attractions look like being the “TOPS”. It’s not too late to sign up in the clubhouse but if you are unable to call in, just text or email Roger > Every member can bring a guest so let us swell the numbers. and make the occasion a success..Starts at 5 p.m., food being served about 7 o’clock.
