Salisbury Bowling Club is affiliated to:

Bowls England

Bowls England is the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of Flat Green Lawn Bowls in England. It was formed as a company limited by guarantee on 1st January 2008 following a unification of the English Bowling Association (EBA) and English Women’s Bowling Association (EWBA).

Bowls Wiltshire

(Wiltshire Bowls Association founded 1914, Wiltshire County Women’s Bowls Association founded 1946, unified to Bowls Wiltshire 1st January 2009)

The Moonrakers is the name by which the bowls world best knows Bowls Wiltshire. The County Badge depicts the legend of the Moonrakers and the county stickers bear the words ‘The Moonrakers’ rather than the county name.

Bowls Wiltshire is affiliated to Bowls England, the National Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of Flat Green Lawn Bowls in England.

Salisbury & District Bowling Association

Salisbury Bowling Club is affiliated to The Salisbury and District Bowling Association with which it has had strong ties for many years. The Salisbury and District Bowling Association organises the league competition, plus singles, pairs and triples knockout competitions.

The Herbie Turner knock-out competition organised by the association is battled for by two triples at home and two away. Monies raised during this competition (draws and fund raising) are donated to the British Heart Foundation.

The Salisbury and District Bowling Association (Men), also play in friendly representative matches.

The affiliated bowling clubs in Wiltshire and Hampshire are: Alderbury, Amesbury, Andover, Downton, Pewsey, Salisbury and
Wilton.

Westbrook Mixed Triples League

The league was initially set up to provide new/novice bowlers with an opportunity to experience competitive games played in a friendly manner, whilst playing with experience bowlers of both sexes. Made up of teams from in and around south Wiltshire,  the games are played outdoors between April and August.
